Copying and pasting files

You can copy and paste files.

About this task

Do the following:

Procedure

  1. To copy a file, right-click on it and select Copy (also Edit > Copy or Ctrl+C).
  2. To paste a copied file in the same or a different Java™ element, right-click in the library and select Paste (also Edit > Paste or Ctrl+V).
    You cannot copy between different types of elements, for example, from an agent to a library.
  3. If you are pasting into the same element, fill out the dialog to uniquely name the file.
  4. If you are pasting into a different element and a file of the same name exists there, fill out the dialog to overwrite.
