Setting custom font properties

Apply font styles to design elements, for example, the font family, size, color, alignment, and more.

About this task

To set font properties, do the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Select the design element in the XPages editor.
  2. In the Properties view, click the Font tab.
  3. If you are setting custom styles for a view or a section control, you can click the diagram to select an area of the control. For a section control, you can select the entire section or the section header. For a view control, you can select the entire view or the data table.
    Note: You can also click a view column or view column header in the Design tab of the editor and then set its properties.
  4. In the Family field, select the font family from the list.
  5. In the Font field, select the font from the list.
  6. In the Size field, select a font size from the list.
  7. In the Color field, click the color picker button, select a font color in the dialog box, and then click OK.
  8. In the Style field, select a font style from the list. Choices include bold, italic, underlined, or strikethrough. To reset the font style to its original state (no style), click the button with the two arrows.
  9. In the Alignment field, select the alignment for the font. Choices include left-justified, center-justified, right-justified, and left-and-right justified. To reset the font alignment to its original state (no alignment), click the button with the two arrows.
  10. Click File > Save to save your changes.
