Creating style sheets

Create new style sheets and add them to applications.

To create a new style sheet, do the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Click File > New > Style Sheet Resource from the main Eclipse menu.
  2. In the New Style Sheet dialog box, do the following steps:
    1. In the Name field, type the name of the style sheet. By default, Domino® Designer adds a CSS file extension to this name.
    2. In the Application field, select an application for the style sheet.
    3. Click OK.
  3. In the text editor that opens, type the CSS source code.
  4. Click File > Save to save your work.
  5. Close the text editor.

Example

You can also create style sheets by double-clicking Resources > Style Sheets in the Applications Navigator and then clicking New Style Sheet in the editor.

Now, you have successfully created the style sheet and added it to the application that you specified in the New Style Sheet dialog box. The new style sheet appears in the Resources > Style Sheets category in the Applications Navigator. You can add the new style sheet to other applications by right-clicking the style sheet and then copying and pasting it into another application in the Applications Navigator.
