Syntax errors are detected for server scripts.

Syntax errors

Syntax errors in the server script editor are immediately marked with a red X at the beginning of the line containing the error. Hovering over the X displays an error message. Fixing the error removes the X.

Syntax errors in a client script are not caught by the editor. See Detecting errors.

Errors in a saved component display in the Problems view. Double-clicking an error highlights the element containing the error in the Source window. You can make corrections there or switch to the Design window.
