Recommend Baselines

Use the Recommend Baselines dialog to recommend a set of baselines for components in a UCM project.

The Baselines for components in stream table lists all of the components in the current UCM project along with their currently recommended baselines and the new baselines to recommend. If a component includes composite baselines, you can expand the component node to view the composites. Use the controls in the dialog to modify the list of baselines to recommend.

Controls in the dialog box

The following controls appear in the dialog box:

Control name	Control description
Fetch Baselines	Populates the Baselines for components in stream table with all baselines whose promotion level is currently at or above the level specified by the Filter Promotion Level option.
Filter Promotion Level	Specifies the minimum promotion level of the baselines that are returned when you click the Fetch Baselines button.
Add	Adds a new baseline to the list of baselines to be recommended.
Change	Replaces the currently selected baseline with a new baseline.
Remove	Removes the currently selected baseline from the list of baselines to be recommended. Note that you cannot remove a baseline that is referred to by a composite baseline. You must remove the entire composite baseline if you want to remove any of its dependencies.
Properties	Displays the properties of the currently selected baseline.
OK	Confirms your selections and recommends the baselines.
Cancel	Cancels the operation.
