Rebase and Deliver Preferences

Use the VersionVault Rebase and Deliver Preferences dialog box to customize the manner in which HCL VersionVault handles rebase and deliver operations.

Controls in the dialog box

The following controls are displayed in the Rebase and Deliver Preferences dialog box.

Column name Displays
VersionVault View The name of the VersionVault view to which the delivered elements will be merged. By default, this is the integration view you created when you joined this UCM project.
Enable one-step default deliver operation Click to enable a one-step process when you select Default Deliver. When you select this option, the other three Default Deliver options are automatically selected.
Do not show the configuration dialog again after settings have been configured Click to suppress the Default Deliver configuration dialog box from appearing again after you have configured it initially.
Checkin all checkouts before starting the operation Click to automatically check in all checkouts in your relevant activities before the Default Deliver operation begins.
Automatically complete the operation after all merges are finished Click to suppress the appearance of the Default Deliver dialog box and automatically complete the deliver operation silently.
Enable one-step default rebase operation Click to enable a one-step process when you select Default Rebase. When you select this option, the other three Default Rebase options are automatically selected.

Checkin all checkouts before starting the operation Click to automatically check in all checkouts in your relevant activities before the Default Rebase operation begins.
Automatically complete the operation after all merges are finished Click to suppress the appearance of the Default Rebase dialog box and automatically complete the rebase operation silently.
After a successful default deliver, automatically make a baseline After you deliver your changes, you can make them available by creating a new baseline that other users can access by rebasing. Click to automatically open the Make Baseline dialog box when a default deliver operation completes successfully.
Recommend baseline Click to specify that the new baseline you have created will automatically be the recommended baseline.
Prompt before making baseline Click to specify that a prompt window appears confirming that you want to create a new baseline.
Deliver to stream The name of the stream to which the activities will be delivered during a Default Deliver operation. By default, this is the UCM project's integration stream.
Change Click to select a different target stream to which the activities will be delivered during a Default Deliver operation.
Integration view Click to select an existing local VersionVault view in which the changes will be integrated. In a UCM environment, the default setting is the integration view you created when you joined this UCM project.
New Click to create a new VersionVault view to which the delivered elements will be merged.
Rebase to the recommended baselines Click to specify that the type of baseline to which you are rebasing is the recommended baseline by default.
Rebase to the latest baselines Click to specify that the type of baseline to which you are rebasing is the latest baseline by default.
Restore Defaults Click to restore the default settings to the Rebase and Deliver Preferences page.
Apply Click to apply any changes you have specified while leaving open the Preferences window.
OK Confirms the operation and allows it to proceed.
Cancel Discontinues the operation without committing any changes you have made.
