Collecting MustGather data for HCL Commerce Developer installation issues

Prepare the following MustGather information before you call HCL Support to help with HCL Commerce Developer installation issues.

Procedure

  1. Record the value of your JAVA_HOME environment variable.
  2. Record the value of your system user (dbUser) that you used when you loaded the database schema.
  3. Collect the following information.
    • All logs from the WCDE_installdir\logs\ directory.
    • All Installation Manager logs. For example, C:\Program Files\IBM\Installation Manager\logs\.
    • The DB2create.db2.log or Oraclecreate.oracle.log file that was generated when you prepared a database for use with HCL Commerce.
    • The applyUpdate.log log file from the WCDE_InstallDir\UpdateDelta\CURRENT_VERSION\ directory.

      For example, C:\WCDE_V9\UpdateDelta\9.1.3.0\applyUpdate.log.

    • If you are encountering issues with the Store server, collect all logs from the Liberty_installdir\usr\servers\crsServer\logs\ directory.
    • If you are encountering issues with the Customization server, collect all logs from the Liberty_installdir\usr\servers\crsServer\logs\ directory.
    • If you are using the Solr-based search solution, and are encountering issues with it, collect all logs from the Liberty_installdir\usr\servers\commerceueServer\logs\ directory.
    • If you are using the Elasticsearch-based search solution, and are encountering issues with it, collect the Docker container logs for the following containers:
      • ElasticSearch
      • Zookeeper
      • Redis
      • Nifi
      • Nifi Registry
      • Data Query
      • Ingest
