Troubleshooting: Products not in search results when using catalog filtering to exclude attributes

When using catalog filtering to exclude attributes, search results do not include the products associated with the excluded filters.


This issue occurs because WebSphere Commerce search searches for products by default, instead of SKUs. Therefore, when applying an exclude condition on the product, the product is not returned.


To resolve this issue, change the search type for WebSphere Commerce search to include SKUs instead of products.
