Using a Certificate Authority signed certificate on the Server

You can create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) from the default self-signed certificate keystore created during the installation by following the procedure at Creating Certificate Authority signed certificates.

About this task

You can also create a brand new Server Self-signed certificate before creating the CSR in case you want to change the expiration period or some other certificate attributes. In this case follow the procedure at Creating a self signed certificate.

Once the CA signed certificate has been imported in the keystore restart the Remote Control Server service.
