        You must join a UCM project before you can create a UCM view. Some projects require only an integration view, others require both an integration view and a development view.
        Join a UCM Project
        Before you create a UCM VersionVault view, you must specify a UCM project with which it will be associated. Your project leader can supply this information and the name of the Project VOB and folder in which you can find the project.
        Create a VersionVault UCM development view/environment
        Create or specify a development stream and a development view in which to work on UCM project activities.
        Create a VersionVault UCM integration view
        In a typical UCM project, you work on activities in a development view and deliver completed activities to an integration view. In a single-stream UCM project, all users work on activities in an integration view.

Join a UCM project and create UCM views

You must join a UCM project before you can create a UCM view. Some projects require only an integration view, others require both an integration view and a development view.

To create a UCM VersionVault view, click the icon on the VersionVault advanced toolbar to start the Join UCM Project Wizard or select VersionVault > Join Project from the menu bar.
