Specifying the view tag

A view tag is the name by which a view is referenced.

If you are creating an automatic view, View tag is the only control that is displayed in the Create a VersionVault view dialog. If you are creating another type of view, one additional control is displayed that is specific to the view type.

All view types	View tag	Specifies a tag for the view that you are creating.
Dynamic view	Drive letter	Enables you to access a single dynamic view. The directory path on Windows is M:\ and on Unix it is /view.
Snapshot view	View location	A local path that specifies where copies of VOB objects are to be stored.
Web view	Copy area	A local path that specifies where copies of VOB objects are to be stored.
