        Join a UCM Project
        Before you create a UCM VersionVault view, you must specify a UCM project with which it will be associated. Your project leader can supply this information and the name of the Project VOB and folder in which you can find the project.

        Use this dialog box to specify the view text mode options for the new view.
        Create a VersionVault UCM integration view
        In a typical UCM project, you work on activities in a development view and deliver completed activities to an integration view. In a single-stream UCM project, all users work on activities in an integration view.

      The VersionVault Change Set view displays change set information for HCL VersionVault activities.

      The VersionVault Checkouts view displays all checkouts in the currently selected view or folder.
    - VersionVault Merge Manager
      The HCL VersionVault Merge Manager is a wizard that manages the process of merging, for one or more elements, a version in a VOB to the version selected by a local VersionVault view. It automates the processes of finding the versions that require a merge, starting a merge, and tracking the progress of a merge. It allows you to suspend and resume merges as needed.

Stream options

Use this dialog to select stream options when joining a project.

Controls in the dialog box

The following controls appear in the dialog box:


Control name	Control description
Comment	Allows user to enter a comment to be associated with the new stream. A default comment is provided that includes information such as user name, date and time of creation, target stream and project. This default comment can be edited.
Re-use an existing development stream	Select this option to choose an existing development stream from the list.
Make stream read-only
OK	Confirms the operation and dismisses the window.
Cancel	Cancels the operation.
