Seller Dashboard

When a user with the Marketplace Seller or Marketplace Seller Administrator role logs in to the Management Center, they will see the Seller Dashboard tool from the hamburger menu.

The Seller Dashboard landing page has different functionalities enabled for you depending upon the role and environment you have logged into. See Access control for more information.
  • If you have logged in to the Auth environment, you are able to see Catalog and Seller Details tabs enabled for you.
  • If you have logged in to the Live environment, you are able to see Inventory and Orders tabs enabled for you.
The following information related to the marketplaces is shown on the Seller Dashboard landing page.
  • Marketplace: All the marketplaces assigned to the Seller are listed on the landing page.
  • Store Status: It shows the status of the store either Online or Offline.
    Note: You can change the store status from the Seller Dashboard page, if you have logged in as a marketplace seller administrator. You cannot change the store status if you have logged in as a marketplace seller.
  • Last Updated on: Shows the date and time of when the status of the store was changed last. The status of the store can be Active, Deactivated, Online, or Offline.

Auth environment

The Auth environment is also known as the Staging environment. You can load data and search indexing in Auth environment. Once this is successful, the database and Search environments are synced from the Auth to the Live environments. This is known as a Stage Propagation. See Authoring environment for more information.

You can access the Catalog and Seller details pages from the Seller Dashboard in the Auth environment.

From the Seller Dashboard landing page, you can access the following functionalities related to the Catalog:
  • Create a new catalog update request.
    Note: You can create a catalog update request only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot create a new catalog update request if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • Search for the catalog update request.
  • Filter catalog update requests by status.
  • Filter catalog update requests by creator.
  • Refresh the catalog update request page.
  • Cancel the catalog update request.
    Note: You can cancel the catalog update request only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot cancel the catalog update request if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.

From the Seller Dashboard landing page, you can access the following functionalities related to the Seller Details:
  • If you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller, you can only view the two tabs:
    • Seller Organization Information
    • Seller Organization Display Information
  • If you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator, you can view and edit the three tabs:
    • Seller Organization Information
    • Seller Organization Display Information
    • Seller Admin Details
  • If you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator, you can view and edit all the five tabs:
    • Seller Organization Information
    • Seller Organization Display Information
    • Seller Admin Details
    • Assigned Marketplaces
    • Seller Categories

Live Environment

The Live environment is also known as the Production environment. When the data is stage propagated from the Auth environment to Live environment, only the data related to Seller Organization and Catalog is propagated to the Live environment. Data related to users does not get updated in the Live environment.

You can access the Inventory, Orders, and Seller Details pages from the Seller Dashboard in the Live environment.

From the Seller Dashboard landing page, you can access the following functionalities related to the Inventory:
  • Update Inventory
    Note: You can update the Inventory only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot update the Inventory if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • View Inventory updates
  • Search Inventory updates
  • Sort Inventory updates

From the Seller Dashboard landing page, you can access the following functionalities related to the Orders:
  • Download Order Items
  • Upload Order Items
    Note: You can upload order items only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot upload order items if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • Search for Orders.
  • View On-hold orders.
  • View Ready for processing orders.
    Note: You can confirm the orders that are placed from the storefront, only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot confirm orders if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • View the list of Confirmed Orders.
    Note: The confirmed orders can be Set to Shipped or Cancel order item, only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. The confirmed orders cannot be Set to Shipped or Cancel order item, if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • View all the Shipped Orders.
    Note: You can Edit Ship Details, only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot Edit Ship Details, if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • View the Group by orders.
    Note: You can Edit ship details from the Group by Order tab, only if you have logged in as a Marketplace Operator or Marketplace Seller. You cannot Edit ship details from the Group by Order tab, if you have logged in as a Marketplace Seller Administrator.
  • Filter orders by the Date Range and Marketplace.
