Resetting a shopper password

Use the Customer Service Hub to reset the password of the shopper. You can login as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or Site Admin to reset the password.

Procedure

  1. Open Customer Service Hub.
  2. Select a store which has the data of the shopper for whom you want to reset a password.
    Note: The Account management column is only enabled after you select a store. Once you have selected a store you can change the account details.
  3. Click on Customer Search. Enter the search criteria and click Search. A list of shoppers related to the search criteria will be listed in search results table.
  4. From the list of shoppers in the search results, go to Actions > Reset password or click on the Login ID of the shopper for whom you want to reset the password.
    This opens the Customer Information page.
  5. Click Reset Password.

Results

The system will display a message stating Customer password has been reset. A temporary password has been sent to the customer's email. Click the Dismiss button to remove the message from the screen.
