Adding comments to tasks

You can add a comment to a task as a reminder to finish something later, a note to state what actions you performed, or extra instructions. All comments are added to the task group, not the individual task.

About this task

The comments are visible to all Workspace Content Contributors with access to a task in the parent task group, and any Workspace Content Approvers for the task group after all of the tasks in the task group are completed.


  1. Open the Workspace Management tool.
  2. Select a task and view the Comments tab.
  3. To add a new comment, click New New
    A new row is added to the list view.
  4. Select the new row and add a comment.
  5. Click Save; then click Close.

What to do next

Note: If you have not saved the new comment, you can easily remove it by selecting the comment; then click Delete Delete. However, once saved, the comment cannot be deleted.
