Selecting a contract price

This section explains how to select a contract price for an order.

About this task

Note: If multiple contract prices are available to the customer, the lowest contract price is selected by default.

To select a contract price for an order or quote item if more than one is available to the customer:


  1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.
  2. Select a store.
  3. Create or find the order or quote for which you want to select a contract price.
  4. If this is an order and it has already been submitted, click Edit.
  5. If this is a quote and it has already been completed, create a new quote from it.
  6. Go to the Order Items or Quote Items page.
  7. For each item for which you want to select a contract price:
    1. Click Add.
    2. Enter a product number for a new item in the Product Code field.

      Tip: Click the Find Product icon (Find Product icon) to open a page that you can use to find and select an item with appropriate attributes.

    3. To select a different contract price:
      1. Click the Contract cell.
      2. On the Contract Selection page, select a contract price and then click OK.
    4. Modify the information in the remaining item-detail fields as necessary.
  8. Click the Apply button to apply your changes before clicking on the Payment page.
  9. Modify the payment information as necessary.
  10. Click Submit or Complete Quote.
