    You can use the properties files in Remote Control to customize your environment, configure LDAP, set debug options, and set controller and on-demand target properties. The files can be edited in the BigFix® Remote Control Server UI.

Unattended macOS target goes offline when in sleeping mode

Learn how to prevent macOS target from going offline when in sleeping mode.

Problem: If macOS target is unattended for sometime, it goes offline when in sleeping mode.
Cause: Your macOS V10 Update 7 when configured in unattended mode can go offline because of Energy Save setting.

Solution

To change the setting, complete the following steps:

On the macOS target, open the Energy Saver panel.
Select the Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when thedisplay is off checkbox.
