Enabling a messaging for transactional message

You can enable any Deliver messaging for transactional messaging.

Before you begin

Before you begin, confirm that application developers have finished configurations required to submit a transactional message request to the Deliver TMS. Preview the Deliver document that defines the message to verify that the message design is correct and complete.

Procedure

  1. Select the messaging that you want to enable for transactional messaging.
  2. On the Mailing tab, click Enable Transactional Mailing.
    The system displays a validation dialog box.
  3. If the transactional version of the messaging includes attachments, specify the number of attached documents in the Number of attachments expected field.

    Ensure that the number you enter here matches the number of attachments specified in the transactional email client application. By default, the number of attachments expected is zero.

  4. Complete the validation and click Enable Transactional Mailing.

    The transactional messaging run starts and the system automatically processes the transactional message requests as they are received.
