Unica Deliver is a web-based, enterprise scale marketing message solution that you can use to conduct outbound bulk messaging and transactional messaging campaigns. Deliver integrates with Unica Campaign and with secure message composition, transmission, and tracking resources that are hosted by Unica.

To send personalized message to each member of your target audience, you conduct a Deliver messaging. Deliver provides several different ways to perform a messaging run .
Sending transactional email messages
A transactional message is a single message that is sent in response to a specific, predetermined transaction that is detected in your business systems. Transactional messages tend to have higher open rates than other types of marketing message. Message recipients are more likely to open a message that is related to a transaction they recognize or expect than they are to open an unsolicited message. Unica provides the Deliver Transactional messaging Service (TMS) as a hosted web service to process transactional messages.
About enabling mailings for transactional email
Transactional messages are based on standard messagings that have been enabled for transactional message. You enable a messaging for transactional message in Campaign, on the Summary Mailing tab. Consult the Deliver Mailings page to see which messagings are enabled for transactional message.
Disabling a messaging for transactional message
To stop Deliver from accepting transactional message requests for a particular messaging, you can disable the mailing for transactional message. You can re-enable the messaging for transactional email later.

Disabling a messaging for transactional message

To stop Deliver from accepting transactional message requests for a particular messaging, you can disable the mailing for transactional message. You can re-enable the messaging for transactional email later.

About this task

For example, to edit the document referenced by the messaging, you must temporarily disable the messaging for transactional message. You can re-enable the messaging for transactional message when you have finished editing the document.

Procedure

Select the messaging that you want to disable for transactional messaging.
On the Mailing tab, click Disable Transactional Mailing.
The current transactional message run stops and the Deliver TMS stops accepting transactional message requests for this messaging.

What to do next

You can re-enable the messaging for transactional message at any time after the messaging has been fully disabled for transactional message.
