Messaging monitoring and management

When you start a messaging run, the Mailing Execution and status section of the Mailing tab expands to display additional fields to monitor the progress of the messaging as Deliver transmits the personalized message.

The expanded interface also displays log messages that can alert you to potential problems with the messaging run.

If Contact Central is integrated and a Regional Preference is associated with Campaign, Deliver ensures that messages adhere to business hours and capacity allocated to the Regional Preference. If either the Capacity is insufficient, or if you are sending an ad-hoc or scheduled messages outside business hours or on a non-working day, the message will not be sent and you will see an appropriate error message.

After the messaging run completes, when you exit the Mailing tab, the Mailing Execution and Status section returns to its pre-execution state and execution information is no longer visible on the tab.

The Mailing tab provides a link to the Mailing Execution History report. When the messaging completes, you can view this report to view execution information that is no longer displayed on the Mailing tab.
