Removing a server

You can remove a server from the VersionVault Navigator if you no longer want it to appear in the VersionVault Navigator.

About this task

If you have removed all views that were once connected to a server and you no longer want the server to appear in the VersionVault Navigator, you can remove the server from your server list. Removing the server does not break any associations with existing views. If you remove the server but you still have views associated with it, any time you log in to those views, the server is added back to the server list and appears in the VersionVault Navigator.

Procedure

To remove a server, complete the following steps:

In the VersionVault Navigator, select the VersionVault node that is associated with the server that you want to remove.
Right-click the selected server and click Remove server.

Results

The server is removed from your server list and no longer appears in the VersionVault Navigator.
