Ending Dynamic views

You can deactivate a Dynamic view by ending it.

About this task

The process of ending a Dynamic view deactivates the view and removes all references to the view from the MVFS on the current host.

Note: Before you end a Dynamic view, exit all processes on your computer that are set to or associated with the view, including any processes started by other users. Any processes that are running when you deactivate the view will be stranded which can cause MVFS activities to fail.

Procedure

To end a Dynamic view, select the view under My Views in the VersionVault Navigator and right-click.
Select End Dynamic View from the context menu.
The View no longer appears under My Views in the VersionVault Navigator.
