Adding items to a working set

To add items to an existing working set or replace the items in a working set, complete the following steps.

Before you begin

If you want to add a node that is not already included at any level in your existing working set, you must set the VersionVault to the default working set: VersionVault Navigator options menu > Default Working Set.

Procedure

  1. Select the node(s) in the VersionVault Navigator that you want to add to an existing working set.
  2. Perform one of the following actions to open the Edit Working Set dialog box:
    • Right-click on the selected node(s) and select Edit working set....
    • Click the Edit a working set using the selected items button Edit a filter using the selected items icon at the top of the VersionVault Navigator view.
  3. Select Edit the selected working set.
  4. From the working set list, select the working set that you want to modify.
  5. Select an option:
    • Add the selected items. Choose this option to add the currently selected nodes to the set of nodes that are already in the working set.
    • Replace with selected items. Choose this option to remove the nodes that are in the working set and add the currently selected nodes.
  6. Click OK.

Results

The Edit Working Set dialog box closes and the modified working set is displayed in the VersionVault Navigator.
