Presentation layer
WebSphere Commerce uses Java Server Pages (JSP) to implement the view layer of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) design pattern. The view layer is in charge of retrieving data from the database through the use of data beans and formatting it to meet the display requirements. The view layers determines whether the request is sent to a browser or streamed out as XML. JSP files present a clean separation between data content and presentation.

About this task

To change the text for a question or answer:

Edit the XML input file
Find the <conceptName> element corresponding to the question or answer that you want to change. The conceptName element will be inside a <conceptInfo> element.
Set the conceptName for the question or answer by entering the text of either the question that you would like to ask, or the potential answer you would like to provide.
Save the XML file.
Update the production server by importing the updated XML file.
