Deleting managed directories

You can delete a managed directory if you no longer have any use for that directory. You cannot delete a directory if it contains any files.

Before you begin

Before you can delete a directory, you must delete all files under this directory, as well as all files under any subdirectories within this directory.

Procedure

  1. Open the Assets tool.
  2. From the explorer view filter, select Files to list the managed directories and select the directory that you want to delete.
  3. From the explorer tree, delete the managed directory using one of these methods:
    • Right-click the managed directory; then click Delete.
    • Select the managed directory and click Delete.

Results

The managed directory is deleted.
