Management Center keyboard shortcuts

Use the Management Center keyboard shortcuts to access user interface functions or complete tasks, using a single key or combination of keys.

After you have focus on the user interface, you can use the Management Center keyboard shortcuts (for example, to use the explorer view keyboard shortcuts, ensure you have focus on the explorer view first).

Use this legend to determine the keyboard shortcuts. The shortcuts are also indicated directly on the Management Center menus.

Restriction:
  • You cannot use the numeric keypad (numpad) to enter numbers in keyboard shortcuts. Enter numbers using the upper row of the keyboard.
  • The Management Center is not compliant with the Screen Reader support requirement.
  • Keyboard navigation, except for Activity Builder, is tested on Internet Explorer and Firefox. Firefox does have some limitations.
  • The Tab shortcuts are not supported when inputting text using the following input method editors (IME):
    • Microsoft IME keyboard for double byte character set languages such as Japanese or Korean
    • Google Pinyin IME for Chinese characters

Management Center menu keyboard shortcuts

Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening the Management Center tools:

Rich text editor keyboard shortcuts

The rich text editor is embedded into a Management Center properties view. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for editing text in the rich text editor using formatting such as font style, size, and color:
