You can find and associate assets such as files, URLs or
existing attachments to categories, sales catalogs, and catalog
entries.
Procedure
- Associate a file:
- Open the utilities view by clicking
; then click the Find tab.
- From the search filter, select Attachments or Files.
- Search or browse for the attachment or search or browse
for the file. See Finding objects in Management Center
- Drag or copy the file or attachment from the find list
to the Associated Assets table in the properties view.
A
new row is appended to the table with the Path and Name columns.
- Click the empty columns or double-click to go to the
attachment properties view.

directly associated with the business object. The path also displays
when there is only one file or URL in the attachment.
- More than one asset is displayed if the business object
associates an existing attachment with the business object, and if
there are multiple files or URLs in the attachment.
- No assets is displayed if there are no files or URLs in
the attachment.

- Associate a URL:
- In the Associated Assets table, click

- If you are associating thumbnail angle images and full-size
angle images, assign the same sequence number for each individual
thumbnail and the corresponding full-size image.
- Assign a sequence number for the thumbnail
angle image.
For example, 1.0.
- Assign the same sequence number for the corresponding
full-size angle image.
For example, 1.0.
- Complete step 3.a and
step 3.b for the rest of
the images with a different sequence number for each pair of images.
- Click Save.
Note: The search index must be rebuilt before the changes are
displayed in the store. Contact a site administrator to rebuild the
search index or, if an UpdateSearchIndex job is scheduled, wait for
the specified time interval to pass.
- Click Save; then
click
Close.
