Configuring HCL VersionVault Explorer preferences

If you use an automatic view or a web view, you can specify proxy server connection settings for the HCL VersionVault Explorer in the VersionVault Explorer Connections preferences page.

Procedure

To configure VersionVault preferences:

From the main menu bar, click Window > Preferences to open the Preferences dialog box.
- If you are using the HCL VersionVault Explorer for Eclipse, select Team > VersionVault Explorer > Connections.
- If you are using the HCL VersionVault Explorer, select VersionVault Explorer > Connections.
If your connection to the HCL VersionVault Explorer server includes a proxy server, you can specify the proxy server by selecting the Connections preferences to open the Connections dialog box. In the Proxy Name field, enter the name of the proxy server machine. In the Proxy Port field, enter the port number of the proxy server.
Save your preferences.
- To restore all HCL VersionVault Explorer Connections preferences to their default settings, click Restore Defaults
- Click Apply to set the specified preferences and leave the dialog box open.
- Click OK to set the specified preferences and close the dialog box.
- To nullify any changes to the VersionVault Explorer Connections preferences you have made during the current session and close the dialog box, click Cancel.
