Editing user profiles | HCL Digital Experience

You can add profile information to users. User profiles can be used as search parameters in menus.

Before you begin

Note: Profiling cannot be added to groups, only users.


  1. Open an authoring portlet.
  2. Open the Preferences section of the authoring portlet.
  3. Click Profile Users.
  4. Click Select to select the users you would like to edit and then click Next.
  5. Click Select Categories to add or remove categories.
  6. Enter keywords in the Keywords field separated by commas.
  7. Click Finish.
