You can find and associate assets such as files, URLs or
existing attachments to categories, sales catalogs, and catalog
entries.
Before you begin
- If the asset is an attachment, ensure that the file or attachment is created in the Attachments tool.
- From the explorer view, navigate to the sales catalog, category, or catalog entry you want to
associate an asset to. Alternatively, you can find the category, or
catalog entry.
- Open the business object (sales catalog, category, or catalog entry); then click the
Associated Assets tab.
The associated assets table displays.
Procedure
- Associate a URL:

In the Associated Assets table, click
.
A new row is appended to the table.
- Add the following information to the new row:

- If you are associating thumbnail angle images and full-size
angle images, assign the same sequence number for each individual
thumbnail and the corresponding full-size image.
- Assign a sequence number for the thumbnail
angle image.
For example, 1.0.
- Assign the same sequence number for the corresponding
full-size angle image.
For example, 1.0.
- Complete step 2.a and
step 2.b for the rest of
the images with a different sequence number for each pair of images.
- Click Save.
Note: The search index must be rebuilt before the changes are
displayed in the store. Contact a site administrator to rebuild the
search index or, if an UpdateSearchIndex job is scheduled, wait for
the specified time interval to pass.
- Click Save; then click
Close.
