Troubleshooting: User interface language problems when using Management Center

When Japanese or Korean is your primary working language, question mark characters display in context menus within the Management Center.

Problem

If the correct language is not installed, question mark characters might display in context menus within the Management Center.

Solution

If you selected Japanese or Korean as the user interface language in the Preferences dialog, perform the following steps:
  1. From Windows, click Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. In the Language for non-Unicode programs section, select the correct language (Japanese or Korean).
Context menus in the Management Center now display correctly in the installed language.
