Troubleshooting: Updated store content not displayed

Changes made to a store using the Store Management tool are not displayed when the store is launched.

Problem

When you change content (such as the display name) for the selected store in the Store Management tool and then use the launch store feature to view the store in a new browser window, the updated display name for the store is not displayed.

Solution

Check the cache settings for your browser; you might need to clear your browser cache to see the updated store content.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
  1. Select Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the General tab and click the Delete button. The Delete Browsing History dialog opens.
  3. Click Delete Files to remove copies of previously visited Web pages from your hard disk; then click Close.
  4. Click OK to save your settings and then restart your browser.
Mozilla Firefox
  1. Select Tools > Clear Recent History. The Clear Recent History dialog opens.
  2. From the Time range to clear list, select Everything.
  3. Click Clear Now to remove copies of previously visited Web pages from your hard disk and then restart your browser.
