Assigning a catalog filter to a contract: consumer direct stores

Using WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, you can assign a catalog filter to the default contract for a consumer direct store. As a result, customers that are shopping on the store are entitled to the set of catalog entries that are defined in the assigned catalog filter.

For Base for Default Contract, you cannot use the following procedure because these default contracts are not viewable in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator. Instead, you must edit the catalog filter name in the XML for the contract. For instructions, see Assigning a catalog filter by modifying the contract XML.

Before you begin

To learn more about assigning catalog filters to contracts for different business models, read Catalog filter assignment and contracts.

  3. On the Catalog Filter tab, select the catalog filter to assign to the contract in the Property Value column.
