Configuring default conference room settings

Configure default settings for use in IBM® Sametime® web conferences (in the meeting rooms). You can override the default settings when you provision specific conference room templates.

Procedure

  1. Browse to the IBM WebSphere® Integrated Solutions Console on the server hosting the IBM Sametime System Console.
  2. Log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.
  3. In the navigation tree, click Sametime System Console > Sametime Servers > Sametime Video Manager Servers.
  4. In the list of Video Managers, click the name of the Video Manager that you are updating.
  5. Click Configure Default Conference Room Settings.
  6. Complete these fields:
    • Default Max Total Participants - Maximum conference size assigned to a conference room. The largest conference size supported by the IBM Sametime Video Multipoint Control Unit is used if a maximum is not specified here.
    • Default Territory - The territory assigned to a user's conference room if it is not specified at the user or conference room level. The default Sametime Video Manager territory is used if a default is not specified here.
    • Default Video MCU Pool Order - The default pool order automatically used. The Factory pool order is used if a default is not specified here.
  7. Click OK.
