Use search conditions to find catalog entries for sales categories

Business users can define search filter conditions for use with WebSphere Commerce search to find catalog entries to assign to a sales category.

Business users can use catalog entry properties, attribute dictionary attributes that are for use in merchandising, and sales and master categories to define the search filter conditions for finding catalog entries. The search filter conditions are used by WebSphere Commerce search to retrieve catalog entries. Business users can browse the retrieved catalog entries and select the catalog entries that they want to assign to a sales category. Business users can save and reuse the search filter conditions at any time to find new catalog entries that match the conditions, which can help user keep sales categories up-to-date.
