Fix pack summary

WebSphere Commerce Version 7 fix packs contain important changes that might affect how you use your product. The following topics help you understand the technical changes included in fix packs. Fix packs are cumulative, which means that they contain all of the changes that were shipped in previous fix packs.

  • WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0.0.9Fix Pack 9 enables the following capabilities:

By running the utility offline, you can reduce the performance impact of deleting a large number of objects that are stored across a deeply or widely nested database table hierarchy.     • OracleSupport for configuring the database connection process for WebSphere Commerce utilities to work with an Oracle Wallet to authenticate users. By configuring the database connection process to authenticate users with SSL certificates or encrypted passwords in an Oracle Wallet, you can make the database connection process for WebSphere Commerce utilities more secure.   • WebSphere Commerce Version 7.0.0.8Fix Pack 8 enables the following capabilities:
