Homepage filters

Users can filter the output of the widgets present on the view of the dashboard. DEX also provides a feature to add a home filter in views on any reports of their choice.

To use a view - level filter, perform the following steps:

  • The "Add" icon, located in the corner, On the filter bar, click (Filter setting) icon to add the filter as shown below.
  • On click, Add New Filter screen appears as shown below.
  • Users have an option to make the desired filter Global or Personal by clicking the Select option.
  • There are two types of categorizations namely Recommended and Active.

Recommended:

  • In recommended, all the home filters applicable to related reports are shown under recommended filter. There is a data source option for users. Also, if a new report has already been created, then you can choose the recommended filters.
  • By clicking on the Dataset option, you can see various fields associated with the recommended option.
  • To save the recommended filter, click SAVE FILTER.

Active

In this, we can apply filters on the filters configured on all the reports of a view.

By clicking on the Dataset option, the user can see various fields associated with All options.
