  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

To refresh the display

About this task

The Version Tree Browser may not update its display as a result of changes in other views.

Procedure

Click File > Update > Force on this Browser to update the Version Tree Browser display. Or click File > Update > All Browsers to update other browser windows open on your desktop.

Results

The Version Tree Browser updates the display as follows:

It reflects any relevant changes in the VOB since you opened the element in the Version Tree Browser.
It expands any branches you collapsed.
It returns to the default settings defined in the Set Preference window. (To view the default settings, click File > Preferences.)
