  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Version Tree Browser on the UNIX system and Linux

The Version Tree Browser provides a graphical display of the versions of an element, including any branches or UCM streams.

The browser can show:

The number of versions, streams, and branches for an element
The relationship between the versions, streams, and branches
Metadata used to describe the element, such as labels and hyperlinks

The Version Tree Browser also provides an interface to perform HCL VersionVault operations on elements, branches, or streams.

The browser is the graphical equivalent of the cleartool subcommand lsvtree.
