  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Update Tool

The HCL VersionVault Update Tool synchronizes elements that are loaded into a snapshot view with the versions in the VOB, using its default update options.

The Update Tool window arranges the results of the update into categories. It reports the results of the following operations:

Update operations
Update previews
Searches for hijacked files and checked-out files

The window lets you perform various related operations, for example, resolving hijacks.
