To start the Merge Manager from Windows Explorer (Windows)

Procedure

  1. Right-click a folder for a view that is not associated with a UCM project. Then click VersionVault > Merge Manager.

    If you work in a UCM project, start a merge in the context of a deliver or rebase operation.

    The Find Wizard window opens.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • From the Find Wizard, follow the prompts to start a new merge session. Click Help for information on the Find Wizard window. When the Find Wizard completes, all the files and directories eligible for merging are displayed in the Merge Manager window.
    • Close the Find Wizard. Then Merge Manager window opens. Then click File > Open to retrieve a saved session.
