  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Starting Merge Manager on Windows systems

On Windows systems, use one of the following ways to start Merge Manager:

From HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer
From Windows Explorer
From the task bar
From the command line interface (CLI)

From VersionVault Windows Explorer, Windows Explorer, and the task bar, you have options to start a new session, resume a most recently-saved session, or load a Merge Manager file. From the CLI, you can start a session without a view context or for a UCM deliver or rebase operation.
