  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Starting Merge Manager on Linux and the UNIX system

On Linux and the UNIX system, use one of the following ways to start Merge Manager:

From File Browser
From the command line interface (CLI)

From File Browser, you have options to start a new session, resume a most recently-saved session, or load a Merge Manager file. From the CLI, you can start a session without a view context or for a UCM deliver or rebase operation.
