Merge Manager window

The Merge Manager window displays a menu bar and an optional toolbar; lists any elements that meet the criteria specified for the merge; and offers a status bar. It also provides a graphical interface for selecting elements that meet certain criteria that you specify, and for performing HCL VersionVault operations related to merges.

Elements that meet the merge criteria

The Merge Manager window displays in column format the information about files and directories that are selected by the Find Wizard for the merge. You can control how much information is displayed.

Tips

  • To open the shortcut menu for the Merge Manager, right-click an element.
  • To view the history of an element, select the element and click Tools > History.
  • To display the version tree for an element, select the element and click Tools > Version Tree.
  • To open the properties page for the source and destination versions, click Tools > Properties and select them.
  • To select only certain elements in the display based on criteria, click Edit > Select.
