Detailed Bounce report

For each Deliver mailing, the Detailed Bounce Report provides counts of email messages that were transmitted successfully but could not be delivered to the intended recipients. The report organizes these totals into several categories, based on the reason the messages were returned. These reasons include:

  • The message was returned by the email server as undeliverable (also referred to as a bounced email message)
  • The recipient set an out-of-office message for the mailbox
  • The recipient, or the recipient’s Internet Service Provider (ISP), reported the message as unwanted email
  • A technical issue with the mail delivery infrastructure

The report also provides a count of returned messages for which Deliver cannot determine why the message was not delivered.
