About enabling additional tracking features

To augment the standard tracking features available for your hosted email account, Unica provides the following additional contact and link tracking features. These features are available upon request from Unica.

  • Additionally tracked personalization fields for contact tracking.

    You can define personalization fields to provide recipient-specific contact data. You can then request that store the resolved field values in the Deliver system tables each time you run a mailing. The values of the fields that you specify are stored in the tracking tables when you send the mailing, before the email messages are opened or when the recipients respond.

  • Custom link URL parameters for link tracking.

    You can specify either static values or personalization fields for the tracking parameter. You must tell Unica which name and value pair to use for each URL parameter.

  • Tracking audience ID as a contact attribute.

    If your recipient lists contain multiple audience values, the system automatically stores each of them in a separate row in the same Deliver tracking table.
