The list contains the recipient information that is used to address and personalize each message. You create a recipient list by configuring a Deliver process in a Campaign flowchart.

    - Messaging readiness checklist
      The messaging readiness checklist list actions that you can take to prevent messaging errors. To start a messaging run, you must click each item on the list. The checklist also provides an option to select a deliverability list.
    - Previewing the document referenced by the messaging
      To check the appearance and content of the document referenced by the messaging, click Preview Document in the section of the Mailing tab that displays document properties. The document opens in the Preview pane of the Deliver Message Editor.
    - Reviewing the recipient list referenced by the messaging
      Reviewing the recipient list before you start the messaging provides a final opportunity for you to confirm that you are sending the right information to the right people.

      To review the delivery parameters and other aspects of the mailing configuration, review information displayed on the mailing tab. If the communication that is referenced by the mailing contains constant personalization fields, you can define values for each field.

      Constants are text values that appear in every message in a messaging campaign and display the same way in each message. You can define constants for a messaging campaign only if the communication that is referenced to the messaging campaign includes the corresponding constant personalization fields.

    To begin sending personalized email messages immediately, you manually run a standard messaging. A standard messaging run sends a personalized email message to each individual in the recipient list. The message is based on the email communication that is referenced in the messaging configuration.

    To run a messaging at a specific date and time, you can schedule the messaging run. The Summary Mailing tab provides an option to configure the messaging schedule.
  - Sending a mailing as an A/B test
    You can use recipient responses to determine the most effective email design and message content by sending the mailing as an A/B test. In Deliver, you can configure and conduct an A/B test and automatically send the most effective version of an HTML email message to your audience.
  - Sending transactional email messages
    A transactional message is a single message that is sent in response to a specific, predetermined transaction that is detected in your business systems. Transactional messages tend to have higher open rates than other types of marketing message. Message recipients are more likely to open a message that is related to a transaction they recognize or expect than they are to open an unsolicited message. Unica provides the Deliver Transactional messaging Service (TMS) as a hosted web service to process transactional messages.
  - Monitoring messaging runs
    When you start a messaging run, the Mailing Execution and status section of the Mailing tab expands to display additional fields to monitor the progress of the messaging as Deliver transmits the personalized message.

  Digital marketers construct email, landing pages, WhatsApp messages, and text messages in Unica Deliver in the Deliver Message Editor. Marketers without specific HTML editing experience can create valid, full-featured HTML email and landing pages with the editing and personalization tools in the Message Editor.

Enabling deliverability

You can enable deliverability for standard production mailings only when you run a mailing. You cannot enable deliverability for transactional messages, scheduled mailing, or test run.

A deliverability list is a group of test email accounts Unica has established for a specific type of business.

When you enable deliverability list and start the mailing, Deliver sends a copy of your message to each email account in the list. Monitoring these test messages provides information about deliverability message transmission behavior and determines how various Internet Service Providers are likely to process and respond to your production messages.

Important: To analyze mailing deliverability after you perform a mailing run, you must enable deliverability before you start the mailing run. Once enabled, the "Include seedlist for Deliverability monitoring" checkbox is visible. If not, contact the Deliver Services team.

Select "Include seedlist for Deliverability monitoring" checkbox. This action sends the seedlist along with the addresses mentioned in the OLT. Once emails are sent, a link is provided to view the deliverability report.

Once the email is sent to the seedlist, a Deliverability report is generated. You can view the report by clicking "View Deliverability Report". It takes 30 mins to generate the report.

Deliverability Report

Under the Overview tab, you can view the following information.

Delivery destination report: This report provides the percentage of messages delivered and spam filter for each destination.
Duration report: This report provides the time intervals when the message was actually delivered.
Spam fiter scores: It includes information on the ratings of Spam as Good, Warning, Bad.

Under the ISP trends tab, you can view the Delivery Destination reports of the different ISPs. Under Search ISP, you can also search for the ISP for which you want to view the Delivery Destination report. You can view report for previous runs by selecting it from Select mailing execution dropdown list.
