Configuring SIP Proxy/Registrar ports

Set up the SIP ports for the IBM® Sametime® SIP Proxy/Registrar in a stand-alone or clustered environment.

Setting the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar ports in a stand-alone environment

Procedure

  1. On the Sametime System Console, log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the IBM WebSphere® administrator.
  2. In the navigation tree, click Servers > Server Types > WebSphere application servers.
  3. In the table listing the SIP Proxy/Registrars, click the name of the SIP Proxy/Registrar.
  4. In the Communications section, click Ports.
  5. In the Ports table, set the non-TLS SIP port value to 80 (for outbound traffic) and the TLS SIP port value to 443 (for inbound traffic) as shown:
    SIP_ProxyRegHOST  80
    SIP_ProxyReg_SECURE  443
  6. Click OK.
  7. Save your changes to the master configuration by clicking the Save link in the Messages box at the beginning of the page.

Setting the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar ports in a clustered environment

Procedure

  1. On the Sametime System Console, log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the IBM WebSphere administrator.
  2. In the navigation tree, click Servers > Server Types > WebSphere proxy servers.
  3. In the table listing the proxy servers, click the name of the WebSphere SIP proxy server that operates with the SIP Proxy/Registrar cluster.
  4. On the Configuration page, in the Communications section, click Ports.
  5. In the Ports table set the non-TLS SIP port value to 80 (for outbound traffic) and the TLS SIP port value to 443 (for inbound traffic) as shown:
    PROXY_SIP_ADDRESS  80
    PROXY_SIPS_ADDRESS  443
  6. Click OK.
  7. Save your changes to the master configuration by clicking the Save link in the Messages box at the beginning of the page.
