Running rccMKSecure in batch mode

Procedure

To run rccMKSecure in batch mode:
  1. Create a batch file or script file and specify the hostname, user names, and passwords using rccMKSecure command options.
    The rccMKSecure has three options:
    • -ah hostname - The TCP/IP hostname of the z/OS® System on which the Remote Build server is running. Note that no domain is needed in the host name field.
    • -au username - The z/OS MVS™ or z/OS UNIX® System Services user name under which you submit remote builds. Specify the user name in upper case.
    • -ap password - The user password. Specify the user password in upper case.
    The following is an example of an rccMKSecure batch file:
    rccMKSecure -ah hostnam1 -au USER1 -ap PASSWRD1
    rccMKSecure -ah hostnam1 -au USER2 -ap PASSWRD2
    rccMKSecure -ah hostnam1 -au USER3 -ap PASSWRD3
  2. Run this batch or script file
    The values are entered into the security file.
