Setting order preferences

To set your order preferences, such as the maximum number of days in the future that a customer can request that an order ships, the default business channel, and the number of items to display on order pages:


  1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.
  2. Click File > Preferences.
  3. Expand IBM Sales Center, and then click Orders.
  4. Enter a number in the Maximum number of days in the future for ship-date requests field.

    Note: The Order editor will prevent you from selecting a shipping date beyond the number of days that you enter here when you are adding or editing items in an order.

  5. Enter the name of a business channel in the Default business channel field.
  6. Enter a number in the Maximum number of results returned per page field. This determines the number of items that can be displayed on a single page. This includes the order items page, the comments page, and the order history page. If the number of results is greater than the number you specify, the results will be split among multiple pages.
  7. Click Apply, and then click OK.
